Award-winning public radio journalist, writer, podcaster, and TEDx speaker Kitty Felde covered Capitol Hill for nearly a decade, explaining how government works to grownups. Now, she explains it to kids in a series of mystery novels and podcasts called THE FINA MENDOZA MYSTERIES. Kitty was named LA Radio Journalist of the Year three times by the LA Press Club and Society of Professional Journalists. She hosts the award-winning Book Club for Kids podcast, named one of the top 10 kidcasts in the world by "The Times" of London.

Dr. Martha Joseph Watts is an author of educational non-fiction resources, and children’s fiction. She developed the Writing to Respond (WTR) process as an approach to teach writing across disciplines to grades K-12 students. She authored and published texts, workbooks, charts, and other tactile resources to facilitate the process. As a writer of children’s fiction, under the pen name, Aunty Marcella, she focuses on themes of resilience, perseverance, determination, and effective social interaction.

After completing a degree in Psychology and Business Studies, Elizabeth went on to train and work as a primary school teacher for many years in Scotland and New Zealand before moving to Australia to run a language education business.

My mission is to inspire, educate and entertain children by making learning about history fun and educational. I use a cartoon-like character, Little Miss HISTORY, to narrate adventures that explore national parks, national monuments and other sites of historical interest. The Totally Ninja Raccoons is a series of early chapter books, target audience first through fourth grade. The books are specially structured to encourage reluctant readers. Each book has the Totally Ninja Raccoons encountering a cryptid — a creature from folklore or mythology, whose existence is not currently confirmed by modern science. The “monsters” are presented in a fun, not-too-scary way, and readers are encouraged to do their own research to make up their minds about the possible existence of Bigfoot, werewolves, thunderbirds, sidehill gougers, the Loch Ness monster, and others.
